The School has just registered with SuperClubsPLUS for year 4, 5 and 6 pupils, which is a safe social learning network where children experience first-hand how to keep themselves safe online with support from highly trained online mediators.  Pupils learn basic ICT skills through a Star Awards programme, such as how to upload media, publish articles, build personalised web pages, join discussion forums and communicate with friends both at school and at home.  If a pupil gains all their stars they will have met the outcomes for up to 90% of their ICT curriculum.  For more information please view the SuperClubsPLUS website, pupils can access the login page within the  'useful links' section of the website.

When teaching children letter sounds it is important to use the correct pronounciation.  The following link shows the correct way to pronounce these sounds which may be useful when helping to teach the sounds at home. Phonics Video.

Bear and Eagle Classes performed their Opera, The Legend of the Green Glove, on Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th February.  The opera was written, designed and performed by the pupils themselves with only a small amount of direction from members of staff.  The opera was a huge success and showed the fantastic array of talents our pupils posess. A huge thank you to all Year 4, 5 and 6 pupils for their hard work and dedication and also to Mr Driscoll, Miss Moss and Miss Hughes for the advice and guidance they gave to support the pupils to stage such a wonderful production.
