Term 6 Week 3:

Good Morning Bears!

Welcome to another week; it feels like such a long time since we have been together but I really hope you are all still keeping well and safe. I have been planning a few more bits for you to do at home as well as for my 'bubble' that I have in school now too. Things are looking a bit different around school these days, as I am sure you have heard, but we are working hard to make school ready for children as and when they can come back. I would like you to remember that even though we can't always do the things we want to at the moment, or see the people we want to, we will be able to soon and I am really looking forward to that day! Keep smiling Bears and we'll have another zoom as soon as possible! Miss Farmer.

Welcome to a slightly different Term 6 Bear Class! I am still here for you and will upload plenty of ideas for you to carry on with your home learning. Check right here every Monday morning. I really hope we can have a 'zoom' again soon! I will be back in school everyday with a 'bubble' now but do still email if you need me and I'll do my very best to get back to you as quickly as possible. I hope you are all still safe and well. keep smiling! From Miss Farmer.

This week we are planning some video calls using Zoom. Your grown-ups have received an email from me which explains what they need to do, then I can send you log-in details ready for the sessions. It would be great to see all of your faces!

I've added some work ideas for this week below and look forward to seeing some examples. The next page of ideas for our whole school topic 'Save our Planet' is below too.

Welcome back after Easter!

I hope you have all had a good rest and are ready to do a little bit of work!

I've made a new ideas page for you all to have a look at with more links and suggestions. You can still access the last one lower down the page but I know some of you have done lots and are looking for more.

Use https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-4/ for some Maths ideas and little videos.

Use https://connect.collins.co.uk/school/Portal.aspx  for access to some e-books (the ones that live outside Bear Class in the corridor). Email me for the log in details if your grown ups don't have them.

As always now, email with any work or any questions you have - I will help you as best I can!

Keep staying safe - hopefully see you soon!

Miss Farmer

To my wonderful Bears,

Firstly, I can't explain how proud I am of you and all of your hard work this term! You have worked extremely hard on the production, writing scripts, learning lines and sorting props. Yesterday's performance was incredible! The other classes loved seeing it and a Panda told me it was "so amazing" at the end! We have filmed it for those of you that are at home to see when you are back in school.

Secondly, as we are now all doing our learning a bit differently, I will be adding things on here for you to do, ideas of things to watch and take part in and activity suggestions. You have some things to start you off in your packs that you got yesterday. Hopefully I can record some story time for you so that you can still hear my voice too!

Finally, please remember I am still your teacher, even though you can't see me as much at the moment so for now, try to use your timetables, spend time being kind to your families and practising new things. Send me anything that you do and ask your grown-ups to email me if you need anything else.

Look after yourselves and keep being the wonderful little humans that you are!
