Summer Reading Challenge

Mythical Maze, Summer Reading Challenge 2014

Don't forget to pop into your local library over the summer to take part in the Summer Reading Challenge! The Summer Reading Challenge inspires children to read in the long summer break when their reading skills can decline without the regular reading activity at school. This years theme is Mythical Maze and children aged 4-11 are invited to explore the maze and meet some weird and wonderful creatures from myths and legends along the way.

When children sign up to the Challenge, they receive a Mythical Maze poster.   They then proceed to read six books over the holidays, collecting the ever-popular smelly stickers along the way, and ultimately winning a gold medal and certificate.  Visit your local library or click on the Mythical Maze image above for more information.

Easy Fundraising

Many of you will be aware that you have been able to raise money for the School just by doing your online shopping through the Spend and Raise website.  This site has recently changed its name to Easy Fundraising and can be accessed through the link below.

Easy Fundraising will still offer the same wide range of online retailers with various levels of commission available to the School.  Please pass this information on to friends and family so they can also use the site to do any online shopping which will give us the opportunity to use any commission raised to purchase new school equipment. Happy Shopping!
