Book Week

book week animals

For our Book Week this autumn we will be exploring the theme of 'Animals'. On Friday 24th October we will be having a 'Creatures and Animals Day' where the children can dress up as an animal of their choice.  This can be a fictional animal character or a typical zoo or wild animal or any other creature you can think of.

Competition!  We are running two competitions: Creature Creation- Create something related to a creature or an animal. It can be a model, a painting or anything else you can create.  Unusual Trio- Write a story titled Unusual Trio; the story needs to include three animals who are not ususally found together. Panda Class can do a picture to represent their chosen trio if they would like to enter the competition.

Please bring entries into school on the morning of Wednesday 22nd October by 9am so they can be judged and prizes awarded. Make sure the entries have your child's name and class clearly marked on all work.

Easy Fundraising

Many of you will be aware that you have been able to raise money for the School just by doing your online shopping through the Spend and Raise website.  This site has recently changed its name to Easy Fundraising and can be accessed through the link below.

Easy Fundraising will still offer the same wide range of online retailers with various levels of commission available to the School.  Please pass this information on to friends and family so they can also use the site to do any online shopping which will give us the opportunity to use any commission raised to purchase new school equipment. Happy Shopping!
