Crazy Hair Day Friday 20th May
The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs for boys and girls across the UK and Ireland who have sadly lost their own hair through medical treatments.
This charity has recently been supported by Harry Styles from 1D and he had his famous locks cut off.
Some of our pupils had already asked if they could fundraise for this charity before Harry brought them to the public's attention, so Friday 20th May will be 'Crazy Hair Day'.
I would much rather see imagination with the crazy hair designs other than just colour, however, for this one occasion only, we will allow temporary hair dye, EXCEPT YEAR 4 as they will be going swimming in the afternoon!
If your child wishes to take part, please send them in with a £1 donation for the charity.
Please be aware this is not a non-school uniform day.
Dear parents, staff and governors,
Summer events are fast approaching and we will be ordering printed tickets for our summer draw over the half term break.
As such we are now on the search for prizes for this year’s draw.
If you are able to donate a prize, tickets or a service from a company you or a family members works for we would love to hear from you.
For prizes to be included on the draw tickets we will need full details of the prize (including any terms or restrictions) by the end of term.
Prizes received after we go to print are still welcome and will be used as raffle prizes at a future event.

Many of you will be aware that you have been able to raise money for the School just by doing your online shopping through the Spend and Raise website. This site has recently changed its name to Easy Fundraising and can be accessed through the link below.
Easy Fundraising will still offer the same wide range of online retailers with various levels of commission available to the School. Please pass this information on to friends and family so they can also use the site to do any online shopping which will give us the opportunity to use any commission raised to purchase new school equipment. Happy Shopping!
Power up to Recycle Challenge
The ‘Power Up To Recycling Challenge’ is back for a 4th year, however, this year rewards are available! We will be rewarded with vouchers towards school resources based on the weight of the batteries we collect. The challenge runs from 1st September 2015 to 8 January 2016. So from September, please send all your old batteries in with your child to place in the collection box at the playground door.
