Aldington Primary’s Christmas Campaign
Help Us Create the Aldington Nurture Hub & Fund a School Minibus – In Memory of Paul O’Grady
This Christmas, Aldington Primary School is fundraising to build a dedicated Nurture Hub—a safe, calm space where children can talk, regulate, and thrive. Our plans include a nurture dog, specially designed furniture, and staff training to support pupils’ emotional wellbeing.
We are also raising funds for a school minibus, which will help us strengthen community links and give children access to new experiences, trips, events, and opportunities that many would otherwise miss.
This project is especially meaningful to us as we honour the memory of Paul, a wonderful supporter of our school. We’ve planted trees and introduced the Paul O’Grady Community Award—and we know he would have loved the idea of a nurture dog and increased opportunities for children.
Paul supported our school over many years, and we want this project to be a lasting tribute to his compassion, humour, and love for animals.
Every contribution this festive season helps us create something truly special for the children of Aldington. Thank you for helping us continue Paul’s legacy of kindness, compassion, and opportunity and helping our school shine this Christmas.
