School Uniform

At Aldington Primary School we strongly encourage the wearing of a uniform as we are all proud to be part of the school.

The following items are suggested:

1. School sweatshirt and polo shirt.

2. Grey trousers, (not joggers) or skirt.

3. Grey shorts for the summer.

4. A blue striped or check dress for the summer.

Please ensure that your child wears sensible black footwear to school. Platform or shoes with heels greater than 2cm should not be worn to school.

P.E. and Games Kit

Children are required to change completely for P.E. and games. We suggest children wear the following:
 

Indoors:

Light blue T-shirts/*Polo shirts which tuck into shorts.
Dark blue shorts - not knee length or tights.
Plimsolls - preferably slip - on, but if lace-up they should be long enough to tie, but not enough to trip over.
No training shoes.

Outdoors:

The same kit may be used, though training shoes may be worn.
In cold weather a tracksuit or similar item may be worn.

Properly fitting clothing with long hair tied back is safest when using P.E. equipment.

Please make sure your child has his/her P.E. kit in school at all times, in a bag, which can be hung on a peg.

We do not have room for bulky sports bags and cluttered walkways are a hazard. All items of clothing should be marked with your child's name. 

After School Clubs

After school clubs may require special equipment e.g. Football boots, shin pads.
